Scholarships

PGM Diversity Scholarship

The PGA Foundation provides annual scholarships totaling $60,000 to 20 accredited PGA Golf Management Universities, to assist both female and minority students with their higher education costs. More than $500,000 in scholarships have been awarded since the program's inception. Read about the latest grants.

Chip Beck/PGA Evans Scholarship

The Chip Beck/PGA Evans Scholarship was established in 1994 in collaboration with The Evans Scholars Foundation, three years after Chip Beck, PGA Tour professional, became the second player in history to record a 59 in a PGA Tour sanctioned event. The Evans Scholars Foundation, founded in 1930, is the nation's largest privately funded college scholarship program. The Foundation, established by famed Chicago golfer Chick Evans, has provided college educations to more than 8,600 caddies while making tuition scholarship payments totaling more than $100 million.

Each year, the PGA Foundation provides funding to the Evans Scholarship Foundation to assist with a selected recipient. To date, the PGA Foundation has contributed over $187,000.

Dwight Gahm/PGA Scholarship

The PGA Foundation contributes $5,000 to the University of Louisville in honor of Dwight Gahm, founder of Valhalla Country Club in Louisville, KY. The recipients are graduates of the PGA/Urban League Youth Golf Program in Louisville, a program initiated by The PGA in collaboration with the city, school district and the Urban League.
